boracay / shangri-la’s boracay resort & spa

asam_4700-copy copythey say the tans will fade but the memories will last forever. this trip was definitely the most memorable one i had with one of my best friends. after graduating university, we were both so exhausted and burned out by working life and the ‘real world’ problems we decided we needed a get-away.

after some research we decided on boracay, the philippines and stayed at shangri-la’s boracay resort & spa. it was exactly what we needed. escape to the paradise! the resort had a private beach which was magnificent! it was 50 shades of blue and every corner of the resort was strikingly beautiful and scenic. let the pictures speak for themselves!

view from our room.

our hand-made friendship rings as a souvenir!

we are the worst jump shot takers. i swear.

private speedboat that took us from and to the airport.

the very last bit of boracay.

“twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. so throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. catch the trade winds in your sails. explore. dream. discover.”

[…] is kinda like the second part of my trip to boracay, everything outside the beautiful resort i stayed in. so there’s no direct flight to boracay so you have to get on a different flight […]

You have to come back to Philippines and then go back to Boracay Island and try all the crazy and fun water activities! <3

Hello Annie! Nice to see you enjoy your stay at Shangri-La Boracay. You seem to have missed the photo at Solana Bar. :) We always like to hangout there. Such a very relaxing place!
