myeongdong / afternoon tea at bover lounge

bover lounge seoulbover lounge seoul was probably one of the fanciest cafes i’ve ever laid eyes on in korea.

if you’ve seen it on my instagram you’d already know i was in seoul for a little while. now i’m back though and not gon’ lie i’ve definitely missed this bangkok heat. i seriously don’t function too well in the cold. although it was mostly rain and drizzle while i was there the weather-god seemed to have been on my side on the last day. couldn’t have picked a better day for a date with my high school sweetheart at bover lounge.

bover lounge seoul bover lounge seoul bover lounge seoul bover lounge seoulapart from being quite over priced (9,000 krw for a cup of coffee, seriously?) and with tendency to make you slightly uncomfortable with it’s fancy ambiance – it was probably one of the best cafes i’ve tried in seoul. definitely a place to treat yourself.

bover lounge seoul bover lounge seoul bover lounge seoul bover lounge seoul bover lounge seoul bover lounge seoul bover lounge seoul bover lounge seoullocated on the first floor of state tower namsan, right across myeongdong and on the foot of n seoul tower – it’s hard to miss.

Seoul just seems like such an incredibly chic city, and that Bower Lounge looks like something from an interior magazine, while the food looks like something from MasterChef:) It’s snowing in Denmark right now, so I’m happy that I escaped to Dubai, because I’m also much better with the heat that the cold:)

Love it <3 The interior is a little on the fancier side, but everything still looks amazing :)

It reminds me a little of a really popular Los Angeles restaurant that I frequent occasionally. It's called Bottega Louie (don't know if you've heard of it), but you should definitely give it a try if you're ever in California, Annie :)

I love the design of Bover Lounge – it is gorgeous! And the food portions look somewhat generous. I would love to find a place like this in Bangkok (if it exists). I had tea at TWG the other day and was a little disappointed. I think I will keep looking!
