rama 9 / christmas roast at emmie’s

emmie's cafe bangkoknow, it’s quite rare for me to find a cafe that i immediately fall head over heels with. it usually goes like if the place is really nice the food doesn’t quite live up to its expectation or vice versa. but the beautiful emmie’s has done it, i think i may have officially fallen in love. okay now, let these pictures speak for itself and tell me the clean, white & green and airy interior doesn’t make you get the feeeeeels.

emmie's cafe bangkok emmie's cafe bangkokthis tree was probably my favorite part. out of place, but so perfect as it is. why cut down a tree when you can let it poke out of your dining table and up to the second floor? brilliant!

emmie's cafe bangkok emmie's cafe bangkok emmie's cafe bangkokyep, that’s the tree i was talking about.

emmie's cafe bangkok emmie's cafe bangkok emmie's cafe bangkokthat woven chair, the airy white curtain, the wall of green plants with stream of natural light filling up the room. let’s take a moment to appreciate the fleeting presence of this perfect moment.

emmie's cafe bangkok emmie's cafe bangkok emmie's cafe bangkoknow, i know it isn’t christmas yet and this meal isn’t technically a “christmas roast” per se but i mean in the spirit of festivity let’s just call it that shall we?

emmie's cafe bangkokafter all there was that half chicken roast on the table..

emmie's cafe bangkok emmie's cafe bangkok emmie's cafe bangkok emmie's cafe bangkokat this point i was on the verge of hanger-attacking anyone and everyone around me; so it could be that but all the dishes were amazing. obviously i can’t speak for the chicken since i only had the veggies in it but i mean, the veggies tasted great so the chicken must’ve been even better!

it’s good that i bookmarked your blog. You post beautiful food places around Bangkok. I would love to check them out one day! The problem is, it’s too far from Bang Wa.

oh my! the interior is so innisfree :D
the woven chair makes it so relax, and i’m pretty surprised about having marble table in a restaurant, very neat!
truly, the fact the interior is good pretty much indicate the food isn’t that good perhaps the effort was mostly on the outlook design already.
awh, i want to come to BKK on a hot weekday afternoon to feel the breeze here!

Looks like a lovely place! That palm tree makes me want to order something coconutty:) I also like that all the chairs are different. I’m thinking of doing something similar to our living room (sans the palm tree, don’t think they would grow all the way up through the 16th floor):):)
