le boeuf – the steak & fries bistro

oh le boeuf, you had me at ‘unlimited fries’.

le boeuf is a parisian bistro concept steak house serving some best cuts of steaks (and seafood) accompanied by an unlimited serve of crispy, golden fries. but gotta say their selling point is all in that ‘pièce de résistance’ green sauce poured over the meat.

they have two branches now, first one in lang suan and the second one in thonglor. when given the option i always prefer to try the original branch of any restaurant because i think that’s where you can really experience the restaurant’s, i’d like to call it, “story”.

the original le boeuf is located in marriott executive apartments in lang suan (where you can find this baby durian elephant). well to be exact it’s actually detached from it in a pill-shaped glass box in front.

le boeuf bangkokyou know, in case you forget what you’ve ordered.

menu can be found here.

le boeuf bangkok some nice selection of wine to pair with your meal.

le boeuf bangkokapart from salmon being tad bit salty i think the overall experience was pretty bomb. definitely will be including le boeuf in our list of favorite steak houses in bangkok (along with prime and new york steak house, to name a few).

That steak looks amazing. What’s the sauce like? Is it a Hollandaise/bearnaise spin-off? Or more like pesto? Regarding the fries, it’s a great concept. Would be too bad to run out of fries with green sauce left:)

Sorry to hear the salmon was rather salty; it still looked tasty from the photos though!
