if you haven’t already heard soi nana in chinatown is definitely the up and coming neighborhood in bangkok as of recently and i’m sure sanne you can agree right? just fyi, you probably don’t want to be driving there and mrt is your safest best – it’s only 5 minute walk from hualampong station afterall… although that would be considered quite a walk in bangkok standard.
gosh i don’t even remember the last time i was in the area.. but it definitely seemed long overdue. china town’s original architecture remains but there was a whole new feel to it.

selected ambiance by nick prideaux
actually i was in the area for ‘selected ambiance’ film photography exhibition by an aussie photographer nick prideaux and was pleasantly surprised by all the cool stuff that was happening in the area – to give a very specific example like finding teens of thailand right across the street. 😏
teens of thailand
i kinda had no choice but to try since it’s one of the many places my G&T buddy (hi jazz 👋 ) has been raving about for the longest time and oh my gosh thank god i did. teens of thailand is all-about-gin cocktail bar with over hundred kind of gin collection in store and they seriously mix up one of the best gin and tonics in all of bangkok (it tasted extra good especially after having the shittiest one at octave bar the other day).
teens of thailand apparently have been named the best cocktail bar in bangkok by the bar awards, definitely check it out if you’re in town and if you’re a gin and tonic kinda gal. 💃🏻
